God's faifthfulness
The past couple of days have been crazy around my house. Wednesday, my wife fell down a couple of steps in our apartment building and broke the two bones in her lower left leg. I was at work at the Kenwood Chick-Fil-A when I received the call from our building's handyman who lives below us. God provided her relatively easy access to a phone and a quick response by EMTs. The staffs at the hospitals she has been at have been fabulous. I think she has had top notch treatment by her doctors.
A huge note of gratitude and thanks though must go out to the members of my congregation who have been in prayer, have called, have visited and have helped watch my 2 beautiful daughters. I have been reminded of God's providence not only for our material needs, but for our spiritual needs as well. I believe that only scripture can fully capture what believers are truly feeling in worship and this instance is no different when I was led to II Corinthians 1: 3-4
This has been a hard providence, but we will, Lord willing, learn from this and draw ever closer to the feet of our God.

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
